Visitors with disabilities

The Jardin botanique Val Rahmeh-Menton (Val Rahmeh-Menton Botanical Garden) presents some difficulties, particularly for visitors with reduced mobility.

Visitors with reduced mobility

The garden is accessible to visitors with reduced mobility who can be dropped off at the terrace in front of the villa by car.
Benches are dotted along the visit circuit, but it is still very difficult to visit the garden with a wheelchair. The paths are gravel, there are a lot of stairs and also some slopes.
For wheelchair users, it is best to stay around the villa.

Blind and visually-impaired visitors

It is recommended that visually-impaired visitors be accompanied on their visit.
There are 2 panels in Braille around the villa: one of the plan of the garden and one of the description of a flower.

An audio guide can be hired on request for a €1 supplement in order to do a guided visit:

  • 45 minutes
  • divided into 30 points along the visit circuit, also marked in braille
  • topics: history, anecdotes, plant species
  • languages: French, English, Italian, Spanish, German or Russia
